Bekannter Zustand:
- Gerät lässt sich einschalten
- Die Mechanik bzw. die Bandrollen drehen jedoch nicht
- Weitere Funktionen konnten von mir nicht geprüft werden
- Eine Tonbandrolle fehlt
- Die vorhandene Rolle ist beschädigt
- Mehrere altersbedingte Gebrauchsspuren vorhanden
- Einige Scharniere sind beschädigt
- Ein Standfuß ist teilweise gebrochen

Da ich kein Fachmann für Tonbandgeräte bin, kann ich keine weitergehende Funktionsprüfung durchführen und keine Aussagen über eventuell weitere Defekte treffen.

€90 for parts is a bit rich unless you specifically want a restoration project or donor unit. The TC-252/TC-252D family is a vintage Sony reel-to-reel, but parts-only examples usually trade on completeness and serviceability rather than strong collector value, so this sits more in maybe territory than bargain territory.
The upside is the classic Sony build, built-in amp/speakers on the TC-252, and the appeal of an early-1970s machine with real retro charm. If it’s complete, cosmetically decent, and you already have a technician or parts stash, it could still be worth saving; just factor in age-related work, missing hardware, and the possibility that a “for parts” listing needs far more than a clean-up.
