Our Thoughts RADAR AI

This sits above the typical used market: at €90, it is a touch over the €88 75th percentile and clearly above the €77 median for recent comparable listings, so I’d call it ambitious rather than fair. It’s not wildly out of line, but it does ask you to pay toward the top end of the range, where the value case needs to be stronger than “just a normal used unit.”

That said, the HomePod mini is genuinely easy to live with if you want compact, room-filling sound, tight integration with Apple gear, and a solid smart-speaker setup. It’s a good buy when condition is clean and it includes the original cable/power adapter, but at this price I’d want either excellent condition or some extra upside such as original packaging, light use, or a seller with a strong history.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About Apple

Apple Inc. traces its origins to April 1, 1976, when Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, along with Ronald Wayne, founded the company in the Jobs family garage in Cupertino, California. What began as a modest venture to build personal computers evolved into a tech powerhouse, with early forays into audio via the 2001 launch of iTunes and the iconic iPod portable music player.

In the hi-fi realm, Apple focuses on integrated consumer audio solutions rather than traditional separates like amplifiers, turntables, or DACs. The company is renowned for wireless speakers such as the short-lived iPod Hi-Fi (2006-2007) and the more advanced HomePod series, alongside premium headphones including AirPods and AirPods Max. These products emphasize seamless ecosystem integration, portability, and digital streaming over analog purism.

Apple holds a dominant position in the premium consumer audio market, blending high-end aspirations with mass-market accessibility. While not a staple among traditional hi-fi purists—who often critique its closed ecosystem and past efforts like the iPod Hi-Fi as underwhelming—its products command loyalty for sonic refinement, computational audio processing, and design excellence, positioning it as a mid-to-high-tier contender for savvy buyers prioritizing convenience over boutique esoterica.
