The very good condition helps, but A$1,500 sits above the 75th percentile of your recent AUD comps, so this is an ambitious ask rather than a bargain. Against a market where the median is A$795 and the top quartile starts at A$1,539, it’s priced close enough to the upper end that the seller is clearly asking for strong money.
That said, the PSX R is a well-regarded outboard power supply and can be a worthwhile buy when paired with the right Cyrus separates, especially if you’re chasing a cleaner, more stable presentation and want the original matching supply rather than a generic substitute. In very good condition, the appeal is mainly in preserved cosmetic and functional value; the upside is highest if it comes complete and has been recently checked.
