It began as Savant Systems in the United States and is now closely tied to Artison, the speaker company founded by Cary Christie; Savant acquired Artison in 2017 and retained Christie as chief technology officer for audio. That heritage matters because much of Savant’s audio identity comes from Artison’s long-running speaker engineering background.
