Seller's Description

EAT (European Audio Team) Forte Turntable and Tonearm Package Beautiful, hugely massive turntable complete with the venerable Wand Master series 12” arm. Reluctant sale of this wonderful ‘table but I think I need to buy a car unfortunately. Anyway. I can pack this for shipping if needed but it comes to a hair under 100 kg when crated so, fair warning. I would rather a potential buyer take the drive down and listen to the thing before we pack it up. However, buyers choice.  I won’t go into the technical specs re this TT as all the info is available online. I will include the custom quilted soft

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

Is A$7,700 the right money for a Forte package? For an EAT Forte turntable with arm, that sits around fair-to-middling rather than cheap: the deck/arm combo is a serious premium table, and a clean used example at this level is broadly in line with what well-kept audiophile packages tend to command in AUD. I wouldn’t call it a bargain unless it’s unusually complete and excellent condition, but it’s not obviously ambitious either.

What makes it worth a look is the Forte’s reputation for big, composed sound, excellent speed stability, and a very polished fit-and-finish package. The arm pairing matters here, so confirm exactly which arm is included, plus cartridge, dust cover, and any original packaging or service history. If it’s tidy, properly set up, and fully accessorized, this is the kind of buy that can save you a meaningful chunk versus new while landing you a genuinely high-end deck.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About EAT - European Audio Team

European Audio Team, usually abbreviated to EAT, is an Austrian high-end audio brand founded in 2009 by Jozefina Lichtenegger, a veteran of the valve and tube industry. The company grew out of her work in vacuum-tube manufacturing in Central Europe, and EAT has kept a distinctly European identity, with production based in Europe and a strong emphasis on craftsmanship and engineering detail.

EAT is best known for turntables and analogue front-end components, especially phono cartridges, tonearms, phono stages, tube electronics, and vacuum tubes. Its catalogue also includes amplifiers and accessories, but the brand’s core reputation rests on vinyl playback. Across the range, EAT tends to pair visually striking industrial design with serious mechanical and electrical engineering.

In the market, EAT sits firmly in the high-end, audiophile, and boutique category rather than the mass-market tier. It appeals to buyers who want premium analogue performance, distinctive styling, and a more artisanal approach than mainstream hi-fi brands typically offer. Among knowledgeable vinyl enthusiasts, it is regarded as a specialist maker with a clear identity and a strong focus on long-term performance and build quality.
