Cardas Audio Clear Reflection Interconnect Cables (XLR) Description Reflection is a classic Cardas cable made with our latest conductors. Reflection is the Matched Propagation version of our classic Golden Reference. The name Reflection pays homage to Golden Ref, and in fact the history of Cardas Audio itself. Its appearance - black with copper trim - sets it apart from the rest of the Clear line, as does its performance. Golden Reference reigned in the high-end cable industry from 1998 until the introduction of Clear in 2010. It combined the warmth and euphoric midrange of its predecessor, Go
At A$1,750, this sits below the A$2,308 median and just under the A$1,706 25th percentile of your recent AUD comps, so it reads as a good-value buy rather than an average ask. It is not a deep-outlier bargain, but it is priced attractively enough to get serious attention for a used Cardas cable in this market.
CLEAR REFLECTION is a well-regarded Cardas line because it tends to deliver the brand’s strengths: tonal density, good body, and a smooth but still resolving presentation that can suit systems that need refinement without getting edgy. At this price, the upside is strong if the cable is genuinely clean, has the proper terminations, and comes from a careful owner; with Cardas, condition and authenticity matter more than hype, so a tidy, complete pair is the kind of listing worth moving on.

Cardas Audio traces its roots to 1987, when George Cardas founded the company in Southern California, initially operating from a family garage in Ontario. Driven by a quest to perfect audio cables, he pioneered designs using ultra-pure materials, Golden Ratio resonance control, and solutions to transmission line issues. In 1992, the operation relocated to Bandon, a coastal town on Oregon's southern shore, where it remains headquartered and family-run, with George's daughter Angela now at the helm.
The brand specializes in premium audio cables, connectors, and component parts, emphasizing handmade craftsmanship and proprietary conductor geometries that minimize noise and resonance. While cables form the core—spanning interconnects, speaker wires, and power cords—Cardas has expanded to accessories, in-ear monitors, and even music releases, with their wire integrated into high-end speakers and electronics worldwide.
Positioned firmly in the high-end audiophile market, Cardas commands respect among discerning listeners, recording studios, and musicians for delivering transparent, fatigue-free sound. Their products grace the finest systems, embodying American ingenuity and a relentless pursuit of sonic purity that appeals to knowledgeable buyers seeking boutique excellence over mass-market compromises.
