That said, the R-12SW is still a respected big-box sub: plenty of output, easy system matching, and a straightforward buy for someone who wants clean bass without chasing newer bells and whistles. In excellent condition, the upside is mostly that it should be ready to run without drama; if it includes the original grille, feet, and any proof of careful use, that helps. At this price, I’d want confidence it’s genuinely mint and locally convenient, because the same money usually buys more sub on the used market.
