It was built for people who wanted music to feel important — not hidden inside a small plastic box.👤 If You Are Reading This — You UnderstandYou are not looking for another modern Bluetooth speaker. You are looking for a real piece of hi-fi history: the soft glow of the dial, the smooth movement of the controls, the feeling of choosing FM, AM, Phono, Tape or AUX by hand, and the satisfaction of owning something that was made with pride. For a collector, this is a rare Kenwood Eleven in highly attractive preserved condition. For a music lover, it is a beautiful and powerful vintage receiver ready to become the heart of a serious analog system. For an emotional buyer, it is a time capsule — the kind of object that brings back the feeling of the 1970s without needing to explain it.🎧 What You Get Beyond The Sound🎼 Real vintage analog sound with strong musical presence🎛 Physical controls, moving meters and illuminated scale for a true hi-fi experience📻 AM/FM radio with classic analog tuning and visual feedback🧩 A design object with strong room presence, not just an audio component🎁 A meaningful gift for a collector, audiophile or vintage interior enthusiast🔌 Multi-voltage flexibility: 110–120V / 220–240V, 50/60Hz🛡 A safer purchase: professionally maintained, tested, photographed and covered by warrantyThis receiver has travelled a long road from the golden age of hi-fi to today. It was selected, preserved, professionally checked and prepared so it can continue to bring pleasure to its next owner.🧠 Collector’s / Model NoteThe Kenwood Eleven series holds a special place among large 1970s receivers. The original Model Eleven is known as the 60 watts per channel version, while later Eleven II / Eleven III models increased power and feature complexity.Collectors often associate the Eleven line with overseas military exchange distribution, which helps explain why these receivers are not as commonly seen as regular domestic retail Kenwood models. This makes a clean, serviced and visually impressive example especially desirable today.📦 Dimensions & Weight📏 Dimensions (W × H × D):European standard:62.4 × 20.6 × 46.0 cmAmerican standard:24.6 × 8.1 × 18.1 in⚖️ Weight:Europe:20.5 kgUSA:45.2 lb⚙️ Technical InformationModel: Kenwood ElevenType: AM/FM Stereo ReceiverMade in: JapanYear: approximately 1975–1976Power output: 60 watts per channel into 8 ohmsTuning range: AM / FMPower supply: 110–120V / 220–240V, 50/60HzPower consumption: 105WSpeaker outputs: A / B / CInputs: Phono 1, Phono 2, AUX, Tape A, Tape BConnections: Pre Out / Main In, antenna terminals, speaker terminalsPlug type: EU plug. About Kenwood

Kenwood traces its origins to December 21, 1946, when it was founded as Kasuga Radio Co. Ltd. in Komagane City, Nagano Prefecture, Japan, by a group of entrepreneurs led by William "Bill" Kasuga. Emerging in the postwar era, the company initially produced electronic components and amateur radio gear, renaming to Trio Corporation in 1960 before adopting the Kenwood name in 1986 to appeal to Western markets—blending "Ken," a familiar name across Japan and America, with "Wood" evoking durability and Hollywood. This rebranding fueled rapid international growth, starting with a U.S. office in Los Angeles County in 1963.

The brand built its legacy on high-quality audio and communications equipment, excelling in home hi-fi amplifiers like the acclaimed 1970 Supreme 1 multichannel model, receivers, tuners, and speakers with innovations such as polypropylene cones. Kenwood also pioneered car audio systems, including the first audio/video amplifier for home theater in 1981 and anti-theft cassette decks, alongside professional two-way radios and amateur transceivers. While maintaining roots in consumer electronics, it expanded into automotive infotainment.

Today, as part of JVCKENWOOD since the 2008 merger with JVC, Kenwood holds a solid mid-tier position in car audio and professional communications, prized by enthusiasts for reliable performance and aftermarket upgrades. Its vintage home hi-fi gear from the 1970s and 1980s commands respect among collectors for robust build and warm sound, though it no longer dominates pure hi-fi markets.
