Seller's Description

Chord Company Signature Speaker Cable - 3m pair - banana plugs - in original box/packaging (please see photographs) For sale is a pair of used Signature speaker cables 2x3m from The Chord Company. Our Thoughts RADAR AI

Against your recent GBP comps, £460 lands above the £262 median and just below the £538 75th percentile, so it reads as a solid but ambitious ask rather than a bargain. It’s not wildly out of line, but it’s priced toward the upper half of the market, so I’d want it to justify itself on length, terminations, and condition.

The upside is that this is a well-regarded, genuinely high-end speaker cable that still sells new at a premium, so a clean used set can make sense if you want that level of build and performance without paying retail. If the run length is useful for your setup and it includes the proper ends, that helps; the key is making sure you’re not overpaying for an awkward length or needing retermination.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About Chord Company

The Chord Company, a British hi-fi cable specialist, traces its origins to 1985 in Salisbury, England, where founder Sally Kennedy—then Sally Gibb—began handcrafting interconnects in her kitchen. Sparked by a dinner conversation with Naim Audio retailers seeking quality DIN-to-RCA cables for the US market, she launched the venture with Naim's endorsement, emphasizing fully British design and construction. The company rapidly outgrew multiple facilities before settling into its purpose-built headquarters near Stonehenge in Wiltshire in 2004.

Chord focuses exclusively on audio cabling, producing an extensive range of speaker cables, interconnects, power cords, digital links, and tonearm wires. Its products prioritize neutrality, delivering signal paths that neither add nor subtract from the music, crafted by a team of music enthusiasts using high-quality, UK-sourced materials. This singular dedication sets it apart from broader electronics brands.

Renowned internationally as a high-end boutique leader in cables, Chord Company occupies a premium niche, balancing exceptional performance with value across budgets. Its reputation for transparency, build quality, and musical fidelity earns praise among discerning audiophiles, positioning it as a go-to for system upgrades without extravagant pricing.
