Selling my Yamaha PX-2 linear tracking turntable, made in Japan in the early 1980s. This is a beautiful and substantial vintage Yamaha deck with a unique design, excellent build quality, and a great reputation among hi-fi collectors.it was recently serviced, and is in great condition. Works perfectly, and sounds wonderful. It was set up in my recording studio before I moved a couple years ago, and has been in bubble wrap in a cabinet in my new location. Just tested again, and its still perfect.Cosmetically, it presents very nicely for its age, with barely any signs of use. The clear dust cover is included, along with the installed Stanton L737 cartridge/stylus.This is a large, heavy, and impressive turntable, so local pickup is preferred. I’m open to discussing shipping, but it would need to be packed very carefully due to the size and weight.A great opportunity to own one of Yamaha’s classic linear tracking turntables.
