Mission Electronics, a British hi-fi icon, was founded in 1977 by Farad Azima in the UK, rapidly emerging as a pioneer in acoustic engineering. Azima, a former audio importer and distributor, infused the brand with innovative drive, launching the revolutionary Mission 770 loudspeaker in 1978—the world's first with a commercial polypropylene bass unit. This debut set benchmarks for clarity and bass response, propelling Mission to prominence amid the golden era of British hi-fi.
