Solidsteel traces its origins to Pescara, Italy, where music enthusiast Moreno Conti founded the company in 1990. Drawing from his family's expertise in metalworking—honed crafting silencers for Ducati motorcycles—Conti developed prototypes between 1988 and 1989, testing them among audiophile friends. With support from his wife Dora Bellini and distributor Audiogamma, the brand quickly gained traction in Italy as the pioneering specialist in audio furniture, filling a market void with hand-welded racks featuring invisible seams, premium wooden shelves, and vibration-damping spikes.

The company focuses exclusively on hi-fi support solutions, including racks, speaker stands, amplifier stands, and wall shelves tailored for high-end AV, pro audio, and home systems. Its product lines, such as the legacy S Series and innovative HP Series with ceramic shelves, emphasize anti-vibration design and robust load capacities up to 120 kg. All items are 100% made in Italy, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques pioneered after Conti's passing in 2013, when his family advanced his secret projects.
