Initially partnering with Michell Engineering for early models such as the 1976 Transrotor AC, Räke blended British design flair with German engineering precision. Production fully shifted to Germany by 1986 with the Connoisseur, marking full independence, and the family-run business under son Dirk Räke upholds this heritage today, even restoring vintage Transcriptors.

The brand specializes exclusively in high-end turntables, crafting precision instruments renowned for their massive, resonance-damping plinths, sophisticated suspension systems, and bespoke components.
