Vision Ears emerged from the German custom in-ear monitor scene, with roots tracing back to 2000 through the professional endeavors of co-founder Marcel Schoenen, a guitarist and technician. In 2013, Schoenen partnered with Amin Karimpour to establish the brand in Cologne, evolving from a prior company split and launching from a modest store on Luxemburger Straße. This owner-driven venture has since expanded to over 12 employees across two floors, all dedicated to handcrafting in-ears in the heart of the Rhine city.

The brand specializes exclusively in high-end in-ear monitors (IEMs), producing both custom-fit models for professional musicians and universal high-fidelity versions for audiophiles. Their lineup features innovative designs like the VE series—numbered models with tunable sound signatures, such as the pioneering VE6 with X-Control switching—and premium themed offerings like the cult-favorite Erlkönig. Every piece reflects meticulous German craftsmanship, prioritizing sound precision, visual aesthetics, and ergonomic comfort.
