Seller's Description

Mytek Brooklyn Bridge (BRKL-BRG-S) Headphone Amplifier (with DAC) Selling a mint condition Mytek Brooklyn Bridge. This is an excellent sounding all in one unit that is very versatile. I have used this unit very happily as my secondary setup for the last couple of years. I am the first owner, sourced from Addicted to Audio.    I won't list off the technical attributes of the Brooklyn Bridge as the list is extensive and can be found here (Brooklyn Bridge (Original) | Mytek Audio). The Brooklyn Bridge is the Mytek Brooklyn DAC+ with a streamer module (you can also plug ethernet direct to the unit

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

This is a fair-to-strong ask, but not a bargain: A$2,400 sits above the used examples here, with a Brooklyn DAC+ at A$2,100 in excellent-as-new condition and another recent listing around A$1,599, while the original Brooklyn DAC launched at about A$1,995 new and the DAC+ at about A$2,195 USD new. For a like new unit, A$2,400 is still within believable territory, but it’s at the ambitious end unless it includes extras or proven recent servicing.

What makes it worth considering is the core spec: Mytek’s Brooklyn line is well regarded as a compact reference DAC that also works as a preamp, headphone amp, and phono stage, with very solid connectivity and strong digital performance. If this is genuinely clean, original-owner gear with box, remote, and proof of care, the appeal is convenience plus versatility in one premium chassis; at this price, though, I’d want the full accessory set and a known-good condition report.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About Mytek Audio

Mytek Audio traces its roots to 1992, when founder and chief designer Michal Jurewicz established the company in New York City. Jurewicz drew from two decades in Manhattan's elite recording studios, where he honed his expertise during the shift from analog to digital audio, even contributing to Sony's SACD project with the DSD Studio Master Recorder. Though headquartered in New York, much of Mytek's manufacturing occurs in Poland under rigorous supervision, blending American innovation with European precision.

The brand specializes in high-performance digital audio converters and integrated solutions, particularly renowned for its DACs like the Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Liberty series, often bundled with headphone amplifiers, streamers, and Roon-ready platforms. These products emphasize studio-grade accuracy, supporting advanced formats such as DSD and delivering reference-level playback purity without venturing into amplifiers, speakers, or analog sources like turntables.

Mytek occupies a niche in the high-end hi-fi market, esteemed among audiophiles and professionals for unerring reliability, black backgrounds, and superior resolution that rivals top competitors. Its pro-audio heritage ensures robust, timeless performance, positioning it as a confident choice for discerning buyers seeking musical truth over hype.
