That said, the Fat Bob S is well regarded for the things that matter: excellent speed stability, a heavy, low-resonance platform, and a presentation that can sound very poised and “sorted” when set up properly. In excellent condition, the real upside is owning a genuinely high-end, upgrade-friendly turntable with strong long-term appeal; I’d just want to know exactly what’s included, especially arm, PSU, platter, and dust cover, because accessories can move the value a lot.
