Seller's Description

Revel Speakers Concerta 2 M16 Bookshelf Loudspeakers Easter and Anzac weekend special : Delivery included in listed price.    I have deeply enjoyed this pair of Revel M16 Concerta2's in gorgeous high gloss black. I was tempted by the audioscience review and bought them brand new from an australian retailer.  They've been set up in the bedroom system and have performed quite beautifully with a Yamaha streaming preamp and audiolab poweramp.  Currently they are connected to a similar system in the home office, auditions are available for interested parties.   Revel M16 Concerta2 Bookshelf Speaker

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

A$1,249 is a fair asking price for the Concerta2 line if the pair is in clean, working condition; it’s not a steal, but it sits in the sensible used range rather than feeling ambitious. New Concerta2 models typically landed around A$1,300–A$1,500 per pair depending on size, so a healthy used discount here is exactly what you’d hope to see.

What makes them worth a look is Revel’s usual strength: neutral tonal balance, very even off-axis response, and easy-to-live-with dynamics that suit both stereo and home theater. If this is an intact pair with original grilles and no driver or cabinet issues, it’s a solid buy for someone wanting refined, non-fatiguing speakers without paying boutique pricing.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About Revel Speakers

Revel Speakers: Brand Overview

Revel was founded in 1996 by Dr. Sidney Harman, who challenged his engineering team with a singular directive: "Make the world's best loudspeakers." Based in Stamford, Connecticut, and operating its primary acoustic research facility in Northridge, California, the brand emerged as a division of Harman International Industries with unprecedented resources for a startup. This backing allowed Revel to immediately establish itself as a leader in high-end audio manufacturing and distribution across multiple countries—a position typically unattainable for independent newcomers.

The company specializes exclusively in loudspeakers, ranging from compact bookshelf models to full-range floorstanding systems, center channels, and powered subwoofers. Revel's product philosophy centers on precision engineering and scientific rigor, with every loudspeaker developed through thousands of hours of listening tests, psychoacoustic research, and computer-aided modeling. The brand's current Performa4 series represents the culmination of three decades of acoustic innovation, featuring seventh-generation waveguide technology and proprietary transducer materials designed to deliver music with minimal coloration.

Revel occupies the premium high-end segment of the audio market, commanding respect among serious audiophiles and home theater enthusiasts. The brand's reputation rests on its commitment to acoustic accuracy and transparency rather than aesthetic trends, positioning it as a benchmark for loudspeaker excellence. Since 2002, Revel has operated under Harman International (a Samsung subsidiary since 2017), ensuring continued investment in research and development that keeps the brand at the forefront of loudspeaker technology.
