Seller's Description

Revel Speakers Performa3 M106 Bookshelf Loudspeakers Revel M106 bookshelf speakers with Dynaudio Stand 10s included. Gloss piano black. Present like new. I’ve owned these for a few years and have loved them for their detail and sound staging. They’re a fantastic example of a well designed bookshelf speaker. Excellent measured performance. Good bass extension, clarity and detail.  They come with magnetic grills and dynaudio stands. If the stands aren’t needed I could drop the price accordingly. I don’t have the original packaging but happy to help sort shipping at buyers expense. Will pack them

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

Revel’s Performa3 line is a serious, measurement-friendly design, so A$2,000 for a like new pair looks fair to strong rather than ambitious. With the common used-market chatter I can find, intact Performa3 towers often land around the mid-thousands in AUD, so this asking price sits in a sensible zone if the model is indeed the bigger Performa3 floorstander and not a smaller variant.

What makes it worthwhile is the usual Revel strength: clean tonal balance, very good imaging, and enough scale to anchor a high-quality system without fuss. Like new condition is a real plus here, especially if it’s original-owner, with boxes, grills, and spikes/crossovers all present; that kind of completeness helps resale and reduces risk. If the drivers are pristine and the cabinets are unmarked, this reads like a solid buy.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About Revel Speakers

Revel Speakers: Brand Overview

Revel was founded in 1996 by Dr. Sidney Harman, who challenged his engineering team with a singular directive: "Make the world's best loudspeakers." Based in Stamford, Connecticut, and operating its primary acoustic research facility in Northridge, California, the brand emerged as a division of Harman International Industries with unprecedented resources for a startup. This backing allowed Revel to immediately establish itself as a leader in high-end audio manufacturing and distribution across multiple countries—a position typically unattainable for independent newcomers.

The company specializes exclusively in loudspeakers, ranging from compact bookshelf models to full-range floorstanding systems, center channels, and powered subwoofers. Revel's product philosophy centers on precision engineering and scientific rigor, with every loudspeaker developed through thousands of hours of listening tests, psychoacoustic research, and computer-aided modeling. The brand's current Performa4 series represents the culmination of three decades of acoustic innovation, featuring seventh-generation waveguide technology and proprietary transducer materials designed to deliver music with minimal coloration.

Revel occupies the premium high-end segment of the audio market, commanding respect among serious audiophiles and home theater enthusiasts. The brand's reputation rests on its commitment to acoustic accuracy and transparency rather than aesthetic trends, positioning it as a benchmark for loudspeaker excellence. Since 2002, Revel has operated under Harman International (a Samsung subsidiary since 2017), ensuring continued investment in research and development that keeps the brand at the forefront of loudspeaker technology.
