Timing matters a bit here: if this is the current Pb5 generation and it’s a clean, late-life unit, that helps; if it’s from the earlier run or missing key accessories, the premium gets harder to justify. At €850, this is above the 75th percentile of your recent EUR comps (€772), so I’d call it ambitious, not a bargain.
That said, the Pb5 is still a highly regarded piece for buyers who want its specific presentation and feature set, and in good condition it can be a satisfying long-term keep. The upside is strongest if it’s truly complete, lightly used, and from a careful owner; if that checks out, you’re paying for convenience and scarcity rather than value.
