Genelec 8040B Studio Monitors I'm selling a pair of Genelec 8040B speakers that I originally purchased from a friend. These are high-quality studio monitors with outstanding sound clarity, perfect for professional use or serious music enthusiasts. I'm not working from home anymore so they're not being used enough. They are in excellent working condition. However, they do have some cosmetic scratches (visible in the photos) from a house move when they were packed with other items; hence the low price. In other words, this isn’t bargain territory unless the fault is already diagnosed and the buyer can fix it cheaply.
The 8040B is a highly regarded nearfield: neutral, punchy, and still a reference standard for small to medium rooms. The upside is strong if you’re handy or need a parts donor, but with a for-parts tag you should check amp boards, tweeter output, and whether both units are equally healthy. Missing accessories matter less than confirmed electronics, so I’d want a very clear fault description before paying this much.
