Die Lautsprecher sind technisch einwandfrei. Nur optisch gibt es Kratzer und Macken, und sie wurden mal schlecht lackiert.
Einer der Brücken für die Verbindung fehlt, wurde aber durch ein Kabel ersetzt.

€130 is a fair ask, slightly above the typical middle of the recent used range but still close enough to be reasonable for a clean pair.
The Ergo 32 DC is a well-liked Canton compact speaker: lively, efficient, and capable of a punchy, energetic presentation with solid bass for its size. At this price, the real upside is a good-condition pair with original grilles and no tired drivers or crossover issues, because these are the details that make an older set feel like a smart buy rather than just a cheap one.

Canton traces its roots to 1972, when four hi-fi enthusiasts—Hubert Milbers, Otfried Sandig, Wolfgang Seitkritt, and Günther Seitz—founded the company in the small German town of Weilrod, near Frankfurt. Registering the name as a blend of the Latin "cantare" (to sing) and German "Ton" (musical tone), they began operations in a repurposed village schoolhouse with 35 employees assembling speaker enclosures. Still family-owned and led by descendants like Günther Seitz, Canton embodies enduring German engineering precision, manufacturing primarily in Niederlauken and Weilrod.
The brand focuses squarely on loudspeakers, offering over 300 models across 12 series tailored to diverse budgets, room sizes, and applications—from compact bookshelf designs and the pioneering 1979 sub/sat system to high-end Reference lines and wireless innovations. While speakers dominate, Canton also produces complementary hi-fi components, blending traditional cabinetry with digital amplification advancements, all subjected to rigorous quality controls.
Positioned as a mid-to-high-end mainstay in the global hi-fi market, Canton commands respect for its "pure music" philosophy, exporting to 53 countries with a reputation for reliable, elegant performance that appeals to discerning buyers seeking value without compromise. Independent of corporate conglomerates, it remains a smart, appreciating investment for audiophiles valuing Made-in-Germany craftsmanship.
