Seller's Description

+ Versandkosten.

Bezahlung per PayPal möglich und erwünscht.

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

The DT 1770 PRO sits in Beyerdynamic’s sturdy, studio-leaning flagship tier, and this asking price is a bit ambitious against the recent used market. With a median of €351 and a 75th percentile of €375, €399 lands just above the typical upper band, so it’s not a bargain unless the package is unusually complete or the condition is genuinely exceptional.

What still makes it attractive is the model itself: strong build, excellent isolation, punchy and detailed sound, and the kind of long-service durability used buyers like. If the listing includes the original pads, cable set, case, and shows low wear, it can still be a sensible buy for someone who specifically wants this headphone. I’d just want a little more value at €399 before calling it an easy yes.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About Beyerdynamic

Beyerdynamic traces its roots to 1924 Berlin, where engineer Eugen Beyer founded Elektrotechnische Fabrik Eugen Beyer to produce cinema loudspeakers for the dawn of sound films. Born in St. Petersburg in 1903, Beyer relocated amid the Russian Revolution, pioneering dynamic drivers that defined early audio reproduction. Post-World War II destruction forced a rebuild in Heilbronn in 1948, with his son Fred R. Beyer steering the family-owned firm through decades of innovation until its 2025 acquisition by China's Cosonic Intelligent, marking the end of a century-long German heritage.

The brand excels in headphones and microphones, launching the DT 48 in 1937 as the world's first dynamic headphones—a staple for sound engineers until 2012. It expanded into wireless systems, conference tech, and professional monitoring gear, serving studios, broadcast, film, and now gaming. While early efforts included amplifiers and loudspeakers, Beyerdynamic prioritizes transducers over consumer amps, DACs, turntables, speakers, or cables.

Renowned for durable, reference-grade professional audio, Beyerdynamic occupies a solid mid-to-high-end niche, blending accessible pricing with studio precision that appeals to creators and audiophiles. Its century of milestones—from micing royalty to touring icons—cements a reputation for reliability and sonic purity among discerning hi-fi buyers seeking tools that endure.
