Compared with hunting a random pair at this price, €150 is a strong deal for this model: it sits well below the €176 25th percentile and far under the €290 median, so this is priced to move rather than priced to squeeze. It is not just fair; it is bargain territory for a clean example.
These are well-liked compact speakers for the money, with a lively, easy-to-enjoy sound that suits small to medium rooms and straightforward stereo setups. At €150 in excellent condition, the upside is clear: a good value entry into a respected budget bookshelf speaker without paying near-new money, and with little reason to overthink it if the finish and drivers check out cleanly.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Teufel is a German audio brand with roots in Berlin, where it was founded in 1979 by Carl Teufel. Emerging during the heyday of home hi-fi enthusiasm, the company built its heritage on engineering-driven innovation, initially focusing on custom speaker designs that prioritized precision and dynamic sound reproduction for discerning listeners.
The brand excels in active speakers and soundbars, alongside wireless multi-room systems, headphones, and portable Bluetooth options. While not delving into amplifiers, turntables, DACs, or cables, Teufel emphasizes integrated solutions with built-in amplification and app-controlled streaming, catering to modern home entertainment setups.
Positioned as a mid-tier contender with premium aspirations, Teufel enjoys a strong reputation in Europe for delivering high-value performance—bold bass, spacious imaging, and robust build quality—that punches above its price point. It appeals to knowledgeable buyers seeking reliable, stylish hi-fi without ultra-high-end excess, holding a solid niche in the competitive consumer audio market.
