What makes it worth chasing is the A-8850’s reputation for clean, capable power and an easy, engaging presentation that still makes sense in a straightforward two-channel system. If this one is truly original-owner, fully functional, and especially if it’s been serviced or comes with the remote and box, that helps; otherwise, at this price, the buyer is paying premium money for a vintage amp that should be bought on condition, not nostalgia.
