Offered is „Magico A5 A 5 AC High End Stereo Standlautsprecher in schwarz aus 2024“ by Magico as second-hand device from the category „Standing Speaker“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 4722559809 ends on 19.11.2026 at 15:41 o'clock.
This is a seller’s market only for genuinely clean examples; otherwise, buyers have room to negotiate. At €20,999, this A5 pair is above the six-listing median of €17,804 and just over the €20,657 75th percentile, so the asking price is ambitious rather than a bargain. It would need excellent presentation and complete accessories to justify the premium.
The A5 remains a serious full-range loudspeaker: its sealed aluminum cabinet, three woofers, refined beryllium tweeter, tight low bass, dynamics, and exceptionally precise imaging make it a compelling high-end choice. The 4-ohm load and substantial size demand capable amplification and careful delivery, but there is little reason to worry about the model itself. At this money, verify serials, driver condition, grilles, spikes, packaging, and whether the pair is complete; otherwise, negotiating toward the high-€18,000s or €19,000s would be sensible.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Magico, a pinnacle of American high-end audio engineering, traces its origins to 1994 in Berkeley, California, where founder Alon Wolf pioneered the use of aluminum enclosures for loudspeakers. Drawing from aerospace and automotive construction principles, Wolf's vision emphasized rigid, non-resonant cabinets to achieve unprecedented transparency and accuracy in sound reproduction. The company consolidated operations in 2013 into a expansive 20,000-square-foot facility in Hayward, later expanding to 30,000 square feet, solidifying its commitment to in-house craftsmanship by a team of specialized machinists and technicians.
Magico specializes exclusively in loudspeakers, eschewing amplifiers, DACs, turntables, headphones, or cables to focus relentlessly on driver technology, enclosure design, and material science. Their products feature intricate internal frameworks that minimize vibrations, delivering reference-level dynamics and imaging prized by audiophiles seeking uncolored musical truth.
Positioned firmly in the ultra-high-end market, Magico commands reverence among discerning buyers for its technological vanguardism and consistent critical acclaim. Enthusiastic owners and a legacy of innovation ensure its stature as a boutique leader, where every speaker embodies precision engineering tailored for the ultimate listening experience.
