Condition is unknown, so the price has to carry the whole judgment here: at kr41,000, it lands right on the market’s median and is basically fair, not a steal and not stretched. Given the listing price sits just above the 25th percentile kr39,102 and well below the 75th percentile kr58,204, this reads as a sensible ask for a respected piece rather than a bargain-bin score.
The Calypso is admired for its open, refined tube line-stage sound, with enough body and space to make a strong case in a serious system. If it’s complete and healthy, the main upside is simply owning a well-regarded preamp at a fair current-market number; if the unit includes the remote, original box, and recent tube service, that improves the buy materially.
