Offered is „NYQUIST MK2“ by Brinkmann Audio as new device from the category „D/A Converter“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 8977428721 ends on 24.11.2026 at 18:49 o'clock.
The timing matters: the Nyquist Mk II is a discontinued generation, but its upgradeable digital module gives it unusually good longevity. At €12,500, this is a strong deal rather than merely fair: it sits below the €12,755 25th-percentile comparable and well under the €12,883 median, making it one of the better-priced examples in the current used market.
It remains a compelling all-in-one digital source, combining a refined, warm valve-output presentation with Roon-ready networking, USB, Ethernet, AES/EBU, balanced and RCA outputs, and high-resolution PCM/DSD support. The external power supply and replaceable digital hardware are meaningful advantages for long-term ownership. Confirm that the Mk II module is installed, and check for the remote, power supply, and original accessories; assuming those are present and the unit is healthy, this looks like a genuine buying opportunity.

Brinkmann Audio traces its origins to 1985 in Germany, when Helmut Brinkmann founded the company after selling his stake in Audiolabor, where he had developed acclaimed products like the Konstant turntable. Fans urged him to continue his innovations, leading to Brinkmann's debut with the legendary Balance turntable—a design still in continuous production today. Handcrafted entirely from German parts in Germany, the brand embodies Helmut's relentless pursuit of the "perfect illusion" of musical playback, rooted in engineering simplicity and enduring quality.
The company specializes in high-end analog components, renowned for its exceptional turntables, tonearms, and phono preamplifiers, with past offerings including phono cartridges. Brinkmann has expanded into electronics, producing preamplifiers, power amplifiers, and integrated amplifiers to complete the audio chain, while designing and manufacturing every element in-house for seamless synergy.
Positioned firmly in the ultra-high-end market, Brinkmann commands a cult following among discerning audiophiles for its refined German craftsmanship and uncompromising performance. It stands as a niche boutique icon, delivering magical, lifelike sound that elevates vinyl and digital playback to reference levels, appealing to collectors and perfectionists who demand the pinnacle of hi-fi artistry.
