Offered is „NYQUIST MK2“ by Brinkmann Audio as new device from the category „D/A Converter“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 1304286679 ends on 22.12.2026 at 17:01 o'clock.
The Brinkmann Nyquist Mk II is a notably versatile, genuinely high-end streamer/DAC rather than just another digital box. At €12,500, this is a strong deal: it sits below the €12,722 25th-percentile comparable, and is €371 under the €12,871 median, making it unusually attractive against the recent used market.
Its appeal is the natural, unforced presentation, excellent build, extensive USB, network and digital connectivity, balanced and single-ended outputs, headphone stage, and Roon-ready streaming. The replaceable digital module is a meaningful long-term advantage, while the separate power supply and granite base reinforce its serious engineering. Confirm that the remote, power supply, granite base and all supplied cables are included, but assuming clean, complete condition, this looks like a buying opportunity rather than merely a fair listing.

Brinkmann Audio traces its origins to 1985 in Germany, when Helmut Brinkmann founded the company after selling his stake in Audiolabor, where he had developed acclaimed products like the Konstant turntable. Fans urged him to continue his innovations, leading to Brinkmann's debut with the legendary Balance turntable—a design still in continuous production today. Handcrafted entirely from German parts in Germany, the brand embodies Helmut's relentless pursuit of the "perfect illusion" of musical playback, rooted in engineering simplicity and enduring quality.
The company specializes in high-end analog components, renowned for its exceptional turntables, tonearms, and phono preamplifiers, with past offerings including phono cartridges. Brinkmann has expanded into electronics, producing preamplifiers, power amplifiers, and integrated amplifiers to complete the audio chain, while designing and manufacturing every element in-house for seamless synergy.
Positioned firmly in the ultra-high-end market, Brinkmann commands a cult following among discerning audiophiles for its refined German craftsmanship and uncompromising performance. It stands as a niche boutique icon, delivering magical, lifelike sound that elevates vinyl and digital playback to reference levels, appealing to collectors and perfectionists who demand the pinnacle of hi-fi artistry.
