Seller's Description

Ideal for connecting Naim sources using DIN connectors for best sound quality, to amplifiers where RCA connectors are needed (the vast majority of non-Naim amplifiers). I have used with a Naim CD555 and a Vitus amplifier. Excellent class leading performance and a significant upgrade from, for example a Naim Hi-Line. Current RRP price for the newer Sarum T model in this connector configuration is well over £2,000. Payment by cleared bank transfer tor cash on collection.

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

At £500 in excellent condition, this sits a touch above the £417 median but still well inside the normal used range, and below the £544 75th percentile, so it reads as a fair-to-good buy rather than an overreach. It is not a bargain-basement price, but it is priced sensibly for a premium interconnect that belongs in the more serious end of the Chord line.

What makes it worth a look is simple: this is the sort of cable that tends to show up in refined systems because it does timing, clarity, and tonal cleanliness well without getting blunt or dull. If the plugs are original and the cable has been well cared for, that adds confidence; on a specialist lead like this, condition and provenance matter more than on generic wire. For a buyer already chasing this level, £500 is a reasonable entry point.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About Chord Company

The Chord Company, a British hi-fi cable specialist, traces its origins to 1985 in Salisbury, England, where founder Sally Kennedy—then Sally Gibb—began handcrafting interconnects in her kitchen. Sparked by a dinner conversation with Naim Audio retailers seeking quality DIN-to-RCA cables for the US market, she launched the venture with Naim's endorsement, emphasizing fully British design and construction. The company rapidly outgrew multiple facilities before settling into its purpose-built headquarters near Stonehenge in Wiltshire in 2004.

Chord focuses exclusively on audio cabling, producing an extensive range of speaker cables, interconnects, power cords, digital links, and tonearm wires. Its products prioritize neutrality, delivering signal paths that neither add nor subtract from the music, crafted by a team of music enthusiasts using high-quality, UK-sourced materials. This singular dedication sets it apart from broader electronics brands.

Renowned internationally as a high-end boutique leader in cables, Chord Company occupies a premium niche, balancing exceptional performance with value across budgets. Its reputation for transparency, build quality, and musical fidelity earns praise among discerning audiophiles, positioning it as a go-to for system upgrades without extravagant pricing.
