€252 sits above the €204 median and just under the €278 75th percentile, so this is a fair-to-slightly-strong asking price rather than a bargain. It is well clear of the 25th percentile at €190, so I would not call it cheap, but it is still comfortably within the normal used range for this model.
That makes sense for a well-regarded Teufel over-ear with ANC, strong battery life, and a full-featured wireless setup. If the condition is clean and the pads, headband, charging cable, and case are all present, this looks like a sensible buy for someone wanting a solid all-rounder without paying near-new money.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Teufel is a German audio brand with roots in Berlin, where it was founded in 1979 by Carl Teufel. Emerging during the heyday of home hi-fi enthusiasm, the company built its heritage on engineering-driven innovation, initially focusing on custom speaker designs that prioritized precision and dynamic sound reproduction for discerning listeners.
The brand excels in active speakers and soundbars, alongside wireless multi-room systems, headphones, and portable Bluetooth options. While not delving into amplifiers, turntables, DACs, or cables, Teufel emphasizes integrated solutions with built-in amplification and app-controlled streaming, catering to modern home entertainment setups.
Positioned as a mid-tier contender with premium aspirations, Teufel enjoys a strong reputation in Europe for delivering high-value performance—bold bass, spacious imaging, and robust build quality—that punches above its price point. It appeals to knowledgeable buyers seeking reliable, stylish hi-fi without ultra-high-end excess, holding a solid niche in the competitive consumer audio market.
