Offered is „Emitter 2 Exclusive Akku Lithium“ by ASR Audio Systeme as second-hand device from the category „Amplifier (incl. Surround)“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 3158542256 ends on 28.11.2026 at 09:47 o'clock.
At €8,490, this sits right on the market’s median for recent used ASR Emitter listings, so it reads as a fair, current-price buy rather than a bargain or a stretch. Against a new price that has historically been well into five figures, it still offers the usual used high-end value proposition, but the listing itself doesn’t justify calling it a standout deal.
The appeal here is the ASR house sound and execution: huge current delivery, very authoritative bass, and that effortless, grain-free control that makes these big integrateds special with demanding speakers. If the unit is genuinely clean and complete, this is the kind of serious long-term amplifier that can anchor a system for years. At this price, just make sure the remote, power supply arrangement, and any battery-related or modular accessories are all present and working as expected.

ASR Audio Systems, based in Herborn, Germany, traces its roots to 1980 when Friedrich Schäfer founded the company, initially as ASR Audio Systeme Friedrich Schäfer. Schäfer, who remains the owner and chief designer, established the brand with a focus on meticulous engineering from the outset. By 1995, it had solidified under its current name, building a heritage of handcrafted components that prioritize sonic purity and longevity.
The brand specializes in high-end amplifiers, including iconic models like the Emitter I and II, which continue to anchor its catalog decades later. ASR's lineup emphasizes power amplifiers and integrated solutions known for their robust construction and dynamic performance, eschewing broader categories such as speakers, turntables, DACs, headphones, or cables.
ASR holds a revered position in the high-end hi-fi market as a niche boutique manufacturer, celebrated among audiophiles for exceptional sound characteristics and technical excellence. Its products command loyalty from discerning buyers seeking uncolored, impactful reproduction, often drawing comparisons to top-tier systems in showrooms worldwide.
