Offered is „Emitter 2 exclusiv akku aus 2021“ by ASR Audio Systeme as second-hand device from the category „Amplifier (incl. Surround)“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 6052721955 ends on 16.12.2026 at 10:32 o'clock.
Four recent comparable listings put the ASR Emitter’s median asking price at €8,595, with the middle 50% spanning €7,462–€9,238. At €8,600, this is essentially fair market value—neither a bargain nor an ambitious ask. It looks properly positioned if the example is complete and genuinely in good condition.
The Emitter is a serious, long-established design: effectively a high-current MOSFET power amplifier with input switching and volume control, built around a separate power supply. It is respected for abundant drive, composure, clean detail, and excellent build quality, with enough authority for demanding speakers. Before buying, confirm the external supply, umbilical, remote, and any battery-powered input-stage module are included, and check that all modes and inputs work. At this price, completeness matters more than cosmetic perfection.

ASR Audio Systems, based in Herborn, Germany, traces its roots to 1980 when Friedrich Schäfer founded the company, initially as ASR Audio Systeme Friedrich Schäfer. Schäfer, who remains the owner and chief designer, established the brand with a focus on meticulous engineering from the outset. By 1995, it had solidified under its current name, building a heritage of handcrafted components that prioritize sonic purity and longevity.
The brand specializes in high-end amplifiers, including iconic models like the Emitter I and II, which continue to anchor its catalog decades later. ASR's lineup emphasizes power amplifiers and integrated solutions known for their robust construction and dynamic performance, eschewing broader categories such as speakers, turntables, DACs, headphones, or cables.
ASR holds a revered position in the high-end hi-fi market as a niche boutique manufacturer, celebrated among audiophiles for exceptional sound characteristics and technical excellence. Its products command loyalty from discerning buyers seeking uncolored, impactful reproduction, often drawing comparisons to top-tier systems in showrooms worldwide.
