Offered is „DAC2X V2 in silber - wie neu“ by EMM-Labs as second-hand device from the category „Streaming transport with integrated DAC“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 4274408802 ends on 30.11.2026 at 17:14 o'clock.
The timing matters: the DAC2X V2 is the substantially revised generation, not merely an older DAC2X with a cosmetic update. At €5,250, though, this is above the recent used-market 75th percentile of €4,922 and €657 above the median €4,593, so the asking price is ambitious rather than a bargain. It would need unusually strong provenance or accessories to justify the premium.
The V2 remains a serious, highly capable converter, with Meitner’s discrete DSD512 architecture, MDAT2 upsampling, MFAST jitter reduction, excellent clocking, galvanically isolated USB, and broad AES, coaxial, optical, and Optilink connectivity. It is particularly appealing in an EMM Labs digital system or for listeners who value clean, precise, low-fuss playback. At this money, negotiate toward the low-to-mid €4,000s; otherwise, confirm it is genuinely V2, test every input and output, and ensure the remote and original packaging are included.

EMM Labs and Meitner Audio trace their roots to Ed Meitner, a pioneering audio engineer born in Austria who immigrated to Canada in 1969. With a career spanning over 50 years, Meitner contributed to landmark projects like the world's first automated mixing console at Olive Electrodynamics in Montreal and test equipment for Amber.
