Offered is „Emm Labs DAC2X v2 SE- VG condition - Box“ by EMM-Labs as second-hand device from the category „D/A Converter“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 3411315593 ends on 10.12.2026 at 17:26 o'clock.
Timing matters here: the DAC2X V2 is a mature, legacy-generation converter, but it remains a serious design rather than an obsolete one. At €5,700, however, this is above the supplied recent-market 75th percentile of €5,385 and €735 over the median €4,965, so the asking price is ambitious rather than a bargain.
The appeal is still substantial: MDAT2 upsampling, MFAST jitter reduction, a proprietary discrete dual-differential DSD512 architecture, galvanically isolated USB, and balanced outputs make it an unusually refined, flexible digital hub. It is particularly compelling for an EMM Labs transport or a system where transparency, timing and low-level resolution matter. At this price, insist on complete accessories, clean ownership history and confirmation that it is genuinely the V2 specification; otherwise, negotiating toward roughly €5,000–€5,400 would make the proposition much stronger.
