Offered is „880L Classic Legend G9 high end Bi-wire audio speaker cables 2,5 metre“ by Siltech as second-hand device from the category „Speaker Cable“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 2673210838 ends on 04.12.2026 at 20:17 o'clock.
Against the obvious alternative of buying a complete used cable loom, €4,799 is ambitious for a Siltech Classic Legend G9 “Other.” Your 12 comparable listings put the median at €1,653, with the 75th percentile at €2,469, so this sits at roughly double the upper-quartile figure. It could only make sense if “Other” denotes a particularly substantial 880-series item, a long speaker-cable pair, or a complete matched set; the exact model and length are essential before treating the price seriously.
The attraction is real: Classic Legend uses Siltech’s G9 silver-gold conductors with low-capacitance construction and Teflon/PEEK insulation, and the range is known for a smooth, highly resolved presentation with strong imaging. A clean, boxed, complete example with original terminations and documentation would be desirable, but those virtues do not bridge this pricing gap on their own. Unless the listing covers an unusually rare or extensive configuration, negotiating toward the established market—ideally below €2,469—would be prudent.

Siltech traces its origins to 1983 in the Netherlands, initially emerging from Nijmegen before establishing its base in the small town of Elst near Arnhem. Originally focused on electronics and medical instruments, the company transformed under the leadership of engineer and music enthusiast Edwin Rijnveld, who acquired it in the early 1990s. Rijnveld's vision elevated Siltech from modest beginnings, pioneering innovations that addressed the limitations of conventional audio transmission and cementing its Dutch heritage in precision engineering.
The brand specializes in high-end audio cables, renowned for their proprietary silver and silver-gold metallurgy that delivers superior conductivity and uncolored signal paths. While cables remain the cornerstone—spanning interconnects, speaker wires, and power cords—Siltech has expanded into amplifiers and loudspeakers, all meticulously crafted in their Netherlands factory. This focus on material science and craftsmanship ensures products that prioritize measurable audio fidelity without compromise.
Positioned firmly in the ultra-high-end market, Siltech commands reverence among discerning audiophiles as the "Rolex of hi-fi cables," with flagship lines like Royal Crown exemplifying bespoke quality and timeless appeal. Trusted globally for over four decades, it sets benchmarks through relentless innovation, appealing to buyers who demand unparalleled transparency, detail, and musical authenticity in their systems.
