Offered is „880i Classic Legend G9 high end audio interconnects XLR 1,0 metre“ by Siltech as second-hand device from the category „XLR-Cable (Analog)“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 6585548776 ends on 12.12.2026 at 11:16 o'clock.
Against the obvious alternative of buying a newer mid-market cable or component at this money, this is a compelling used-market proposition. At €2,199, it sits above the €1,300 median and €1,915 75th-percentile asking prices from 22 recent comparables, so it is clearly ambitious rather than a bargain. The premium needs to be justified by exceptional condition, provenance, length, or included packaging and accessories.
The Classic Legend G9 is well regarded for its refined, low-grain presentation, strong resolution, and tonal balance without sounding aggressively analytical. A clean, complete example can make sense for a revealing system where build quality and long-term ownership matter, particularly if this is an uncommon configuration. Still, at €2,199, negotiate toward the high-€1,000s unless the listing offers unusually strong provenance or a particularly desirable version.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Siltech traces its origins to 1983 in the Netherlands, initially emerging from Nijmegen before establishing its base in the small town of Elst near Arnhem. Originally focused on electronics and medical instruments, the company transformed under the leadership of engineer and music enthusiast Edwin Rijnveld, who acquired it in the early 1990s. Rijnveld's vision elevated Siltech from modest beginnings, pioneering innovations that addressed the limitations of conventional audio transmission and cementing its Dutch heritage in precision engineering.
The brand specializes in high-end audio cables, renowned for their proprietary silver and silver-gold metallurgy that delivers superior conductivity and uncolored signal paths. While cables remain the cornerstone—spanning interconnects, speaker wires, and power cords—Siltech has expanded into amplifiers and loudspeakers, all meticulously crafted in their Netherlands factory. This focus on material science and craftsmanship ensures products that prioritize measurable audio fidelity without compromise.
Positioned firmly in the ultra-high-end market, Siltech commands reverence among discerning audiophiles as the "Rolex of hi-fi cables," with flagship lines like Royal Crown exemplifying bespoke quality and timeless appeal. Trusted globally for over four decades, it sets benchmarks through relentless innovation, appealing to buyers who demand unparalleled transparency, detail, and musical authenticity in their systems.
