Offered is „SUT X-20 -PREIS REDUZIERT-“ by X-quisite as exhibit from the category „Record Player Accessories“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 8938058033 ends on 05.12.2026 at 09:04 o'clock.
Compared with buying new, €5,990 is a strong deal for the X-quisite SUT X-20: it sits below your 22-listing 25th-percentile figure of €6,111 and comfortably under the €6,170 median. For a specialist transformer, that is bargain territory rather than merely fair pricing.
The X-20 is worthwhile because it was purpose-built around X-quisite’s unusual low-output, ironless-coil cartridges, with a carefully optimized magnetic circuit, silver wiring, and 1:20 gain. In the right analogue chain it is known for improving linearity, timbral neutrality, and treble control, while preserving the brand’s exceptional low-level detail. At this price, the main check is simply that the original case, grounding options, and RCA connectors are present and that the transformer is quiet; assuming the “good” condition is accurate, this looks like an unusually attractive entry into a very niche piece of analogue hardware.

X-Quisite traces its origins to Turbenthal, Switzerland, where it emerged from the innovative mind of Micha Huber, founder of HiFiction (also associated with Thales and EMT). A mechanical engineer with a background in crafting prototypes for luxury Swiss watches and experience as a music teacher, Huber spent four years developing the brand's core technology after designing the acclaimed Thales tangential-tracking tonearm. Launched around the early 2010s, X-Quisite represents a pinnacle of Swiss precision engineering in analog audio.
The brand specializes exclusively in high-end moving coil phono cartridges, eschewing broader categories like amplifiers, speakers, or DACs. Its lineup, including models like the X-Quisite CA (copper-aluminum), ST (silver-titanium), and exclusive variants such as Extreme Exotics (gold coils in bronze-aluminum-wood), centers on a patented monobloc-ceramic transducer. This one-piece ceramic cantilever and coil body eliminates traditional joints, promising unadulterated signal transmission for supreme detail and natural timbre. Each unit is handmade and personally calibrated by Huber.
Positioned firmly in the ultra-high-end market, X-Quisite commands prices around $13,000 per cartridge, appealing to discerning vinyl enthusiasts seeking boutique perfection. Reviews praise its silent backgrounds, exceptional tracking, and triode-like purity, cementing its reputation as a niche innovator among analog purists.
