Seller's Description

Mission M35i & M3as Floorstanding Loudspeakers Up for sale are my beautiful pair of Mission floor standing speakers with matching subwoofer. These are absolute beauties with a dynamic and clear sound of which Mission is known for. Speakers are bi-wire/bi-amp capable and also have adjustable port plugs. Sitting on custom aluminium plinths that lift these off the floor with isolation spikes (all fully removable). Of course has the matching subwoofer too, plenty of power and has high level inputs which makes it ideal for use with 2 channel systems. All in all in fantastic condition, with only one

About Mission

Mission Electronics, a British hi-fi icon, was founded in 1977 by Farad Azima in the UK, rapidly emerging as a pioneer in acoustic engineering. Azima, a former audio importer and distributor, infused the brand with innovative drive, launching the revolutionary Mission 770 loudspeaker in 1978—the world's first with a commercial polypropylene bass unit. This debut set benchmarks for clarity and bass response, propelling Mission to prominence amid the golden era of British hi-fi.

The brand excels in loudspeakers across sectors, from seminal 1970s and 1980s models like the 770 to high-end masterpieces such as the 2001 Pilastro, Elegante, and SX series. Under Peter Comeau's acoustic leadership since 1999, Mission has expanded into hi-fi electronics, including amplifiers and home cinema systems, while maintaining an engineering-first ethos. Now part of the International Audio Group since 2005, with production in Shenzhen, it leverages advanced manufacturing for components like cables and turntable ancillaries, though speakers remain its core strength.

Mission holds mid-to-high-end status, revered by discerning buyers for award-winning performance—What Hi-Fi? Best Loudspeaker (2000, 2001), EISA Speaker of the Year (2001, 2003)—and timeless appeal. A management buyout refined its retail focus, positioning it as a reliable benchmark against pricier rivals, blending heritage innovation with accessible excellence for serious audiophiles.
