The timing is fine: the QuadCast S remains a well-established USB microphone rather than an obsolete generation, and the S800 is a relatively recent 4K webcam. At €150, though, this bundle is ambitious against the available used-market comparables: €64 median, with €57 at the 25th percentile and €78 at the 75th. It only makes sense if both units are genuinely excellent and complete.
The microphone is the real attraction: the QuadCast S is well regarded for straightforward USB operation, useful monitoring, and selectable pickup patterns, while the S800 adds sharp 4K/30 or 1080p/60 video, autofocus, HDR, and adjustable framing. That is a capable streaming or conferencing package, but the bundle premium is substantial. Confirm that the QuadCast’s shock mount, pop filter, USB cable, and desk stand are included, and test both devices; otherwise, a price nearer the established used range would be more compelling.

HyperX is a gaming peripheral brand that began in 2002 as Kingston Technology’s high-performance memory division in the United States, created to serve PC gamers and overclockers. Kingston, founded in 1987 by John Tu and David Sun, later sold HyperX to HP in 2021, and the brand now sits under HP’s gaming umbrella.
HyperX is best known for gaming headsets, especially its Cloud line, along with keyboards, mice, microphones, mousepads, and charging accessories for console players. It is not a traditional hi-fi brand: it does not have a core reputation for amplifiers, DACs, turntables, or speakers, and its audio products are aimed primarily at gaming rather than audiophile listening.
In the market, HyperX occupies the mainstream mid-tier to upper-budget space, with a strong reputation for comfort, sturdy build quality, and good microphones. It is widely recognized as a dependable value brand in gaming audio, rather than a high-end hi-fi or boutique specialist, and its appeal is strongest among players who want reliable performance rather than luxury-grade sound tuning.
