Offered is „680i Classic Legend G9 high end audio interconnects XLR 0,75 metre“ by Siltech as second-hand device from the category „XLR-Cable (Analog)“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 2008175820 ends on 08.12.2026 at 17:12 o'clock.
The timing matters little here: Classic Legend G9 is Siltech’s current-generation cable family, launched in 2021, rather than an obsolete predecessor. At €1,149, this sits exactly at the median of 17 comparable listings—so it is a fair market price, not a bargain, but certainly not ambitious.
The appeal is Siltech’s characteristically neutral, highly resolving presentation, with strong separation, smooth treble, and excellent image focus. G9 conductors, low capacitance, and the Teflon/PEEK insulation and shielding package make the Classic Legend range a serious step above ordinary cable fare. The main thing to establish before buying is the exact model—380, 680, or 880, plus interconnect, speaker, power, or digital type—as “Other” is too vague for a confident value call. Confirm length, terminations, packaging, and connector condition; with those right, €1,149 is a sensible buy.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Siltech traces its origins to 1983 in the Netherlands, initially emerging from Nijmegen before establishing its base in the small town of Elst near Arnhem. Originally focused on electronics and medical instruments, the company transformed under the leadership of engineer and music enthusiast Edwin Rijnveld, who acquired it in the early 1990s. Rijnveld's vision elevated Siltech from modest beginnings, pioneering innovations that addressed the limitations of conventional audio transmission and cementing its Dutch heritage in precision engineering.
The brand specializes in high-end audio cables, renowned for their proprietary silver and silver-gold metallurgy that delivers superior conductivity and uncolored signal paths. While cables remain the cornerstone—spanning interconnects, speaker wires, and power cords—Siltech has expanded into amplifiers and loudspeakers, all meticulously crafted in their Netherlands factory. This focus on material science and craftsmanship ensures products that prioritize measurable audio fidelity without compromise.
Positioned firmly in the ultra-high-end market, Siltech commands reverence among discerning audiophiles as the "Rolex of hi-fi cables," with flagship lines like Royal Crown exemplifying bespoke quality and timeless appeal. Trusted globally for over four decades, it sets benchmarks through relentless innovation, appealing to buyers who demand unparalleled transparency, detail, and musical authenticity in their systems.
