Seller's Description

B & O Beogram 3300 TT for parts or resotoration. This unit came to us in working condition, so that's how we know the cartridge & electronics are all good.Unfortunately, while thoroughly testing it something happened - we moved the arm all the way left and when it was returning to the right everything froze. We attempted to open it up and see what was blocking the mechanism and in doing so we snapped the white filament that drives the arm movement. We were never able to figure out the problem, so we're offering it up as a parts or restoration unit. The last 3 photos show the condition of the interior. Here's what we do know;Cartridge is good & stylus is good. All the controls worked before it froze up, so all the electronics, etc are good. The dust cover is in very nice condition & works great. The B&O proprietary connector works great - we tested with a Beomaster receiver & it worked perfectly.Comes with original box & packaging. In the Milwaukee Area? Stop in our shop to inspect/demo.Buy with confidence: See our feedback and thank you for considering. All the gear we sell is packaged with great care for safe arrival in the condition advertised and backed up by our 14 day full refund policy in the event you are not happy for any reason.

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

Recent comparable asking prices center on US$212, with the middle 50% running from US$206 to US$219. At US$225, this sits just above the 75th-percentile figure, so it is slightly ambitious rather than a bargain—but not wildly out of line if the example is especially clean, serviced, or complete.

The Beogram 3300 is an appealing compact Bang & Olufsen deck: stylish, space-efficient, and capable of enjoyable playback when its proprietary controls and cartridge system are working properly. The price becomes easier to justify with a confirmed-working tangential arm, reliable tracking, good lid and cosmetics, and the correct cartridge, cables, and remote/control accessories. Without that evidence, negotiate toward the US$212 area; at US$225, condition and completeness need to be demonstrably strong.

About Bang & Olufsen

Bang & Olufsen was founded on November 17, 1925, in Struer, Denmark, by engineers Peter Bang and Svend Olufsen. The company began in the attic of the Olufsen family manor, Quistrup, where the founders developed The Eliminator—a revolutionary device that allowed radios to operate from mains electricity rather than batteries. This innovation established B&O as a forward-thinking manufacturer and set the tone for nearly a century of technological advancement rooted in Danish design principles.

The brand is primarily known for premium audio and home entertainment systems, including high-fidelity receivers, radiograms, cassette recorders, and contemporary loudspeakers. B&O pioneered several category firsts: the world's first button-operated receiver in the 1930s and Europe's first cassette recorder, the Beocord-84U, in the 1950s. Today, the company manufactures integrated audio systems, wireless speakers, and headphones that blend acoustic engineering with sculptural industrial design.

Bang & Olufsen occupies the luxury segment of the audio market, positioned as a premium lifestyle brand rather than a specialist audiophile manufacturer. The company's reputation rests on its distinctive philosophy of merging form and function—treating audio equipment as crafted objects designed to enhance living spaces aesthetically. Recognized by the Museum of Modern Art in New York and maintained as a visionary enterprise for over a century, B&O appeals to discerning consumers who value Scandinavian design sensibility alongside sonic performance.
