Die originalen Ohrmuscheln sind nicht mehr vorhanden. Da passende originale Ersatz-Ohrmuscheln für den UX3000 nur schwer bzw. praktisch nicht zu finden sind, wurde der Kopfhörer entsprechend gemoddet.
Die neuen Ohrmuscheln sind per Klettverschluss befestigt und können dadurch einfach abgenommen, gereinigt und ausgetauscht werden. Dadurch ist der Kopfhörer mit günstigen, online erhältlichen Ersatz-Ohrmuscheln kompatibel, anstatt auf die kaum verfügbaren Original-Ohrmuscheln angewiesen zu sein.
