A notable cable, but this asking price is well above the recent used market. With a median of £1,312 and a 75th percentile of £1,696, £3,000 lands far into ambitious territory rather than fair value.
That said, this line is usually bought by listeners chasing maximum transparency, control, and build quality, so a clean example can still make sense if the terminations are right and the set is complete. If it’s original-owner, lightly used, and includes the proper connectors or packaging, the premium is easier to justify; otherwise, I’d treat it as a watch-list item and wait for something closer to the middle of the pack.

KBL Sound, a Polish high-end audio brand, was founded in 2013 by Robert Szczerbowski, drawing on his extensive background in professional music production, studio recording, live gigs, and home audio experimentation. This heritage reflects a relentless pursuit of authentic sound reproduction, free from the compromises of mass production. From its inception, the company has emphasized handcrafted excellence, evolving from early innovations to technically advanced offerings that prioritize sonic purity.
The brand specializes in premium audio cables and accessories, including its flagship Himalaya II series for signal and power transmission, the top-tier EXtrema USB for digital connections, and specialized links like the XDMI for high-resolution setups. While not venturing into amplifiers, speakers, or turntables, KBL Sound excels in interconnects, power cords, and digital cables designed for uncompromising systems, often incorporating refined materials and painstaking development processes.
Positioned firmly in the boutique high-end market, KBL Sound enjoys a strong reputation among discerning audiophiles for delivering exceptionally natural, analog-like sound with superior resolution, dynamic contrast, and artifact-free performance. Reviewers praise its evolution since 2013, noting consistent raises in quality benchmarks, making it a go-to choice for those building reference-level systems where cable synergy defines the listening experience.
