Hegel Music Systems H390 Integrated Amplifier (Solid State) I don't think there is anything I can say about this that hasn't been said better in reviews or Youtube videos. I have linked on video from Ron but this is an older one. It now is Roon ready and works perfectly. Monster of an amp that does it all. Updated and running Roon and all the other streaming stuff. Comes with original box and packaging. Only slight issue is some wear on the remote from previous owner. Happy to ship nationwide upon negotiation. Compared with the obvious alternative at this level — a cleaner mid-tier integrated plus a separate DAC/power amp later — this is priced a bit above the center of the recent used market, but not wildly so. Against your AUD comps, A$5,650 sits above the median A$4,435 and over the 75th percentile A$5,052, so I’d call it ambitious rather than a bargain.
That said, the attraction here is the H390 itself: it’s a seriously capable all-in-one solid-state amp with the sort of grip, control, and refinement that makes systems feel finished rather than pieced together. In excellent condition, it can be a very smart buy if you want a high-end integrated that still feels current; I’d just want to see clear evidence of original accessories and well-kept cosmetics before paying the premium.
