Seller's Description

Description The Precision Phono Pre is a uniquely affordable preamp for music fans who want to enhance the performance of their turntable with a moving coil cartridge.

This type of cartridge offers a detailed and nuanced soundscape, with a wider frequency range and faster transient response than the more common moving magnet design. Its often the preferred choice for audiophiles in pursuit of the ultimate listening experience. However, moving coil cartridges produce a lower signal level, and require a preamp with enough gain to drive the rest of the system and take full advantage of the cartridges strengths. The Precision Phono Pre has switchable modes to support both moving coil and moving magnet cartridges. Input loading for the moving coil input is switchable between 25 and 100 ohms for additional sonic flexibility. It also offers up to 10 dB of boost or cut for proper gain-staging, a low-cut filter to eliminate unwanted rumble and resonance, and gold-plated outputs for durable, corrosion-free connections.

The Precision Phono Pre has been meticulously designed to grow with your system as it evolves, and to help your vinyl collection sound its best with any cartridge. About ART Precision

ART Precision does not appear to be a verifiable hi-fi audio brand. Extensive searches yield no confirmed details on its origin, products, or market position matching the query. References to similar names, such as ART Pro Audio (a pro recording and live sound brand founded in 1984 in Rochester, New York, by ex-MXR engineers, known for digital reverbs, mic preamps like the Tube MP, and now under Yorkville Sound), Acoustic Research (vintage high-end speakers and turntables from 1954, Cambridge, MA), Audio Precision (test instruments since 1984), or ART Loudspeakers (Scottish speakers from 1998), do not align with "ART Precision" as a consumer hi-fi entity focused on amplifiers, speakers, or related categories. Without high-confidence sources, specifics cannot be provided. Knowledgeable buyers should seek established brands with documented heritage.
