This is a used Technics SL-J33 Automatic Drive turntable. It has been tested and it works! Please note that you will need either a stereo receiver with a dedicated phono input L and R rca jacks (this means the receiver has a built in preamp to boost the line signal from the Technics turntable or a separate pre-amp. Many of the 90s to 2000's eras stereo receivers didn't have phono inputs cause everyone was listening to CD audio discs.This is a very interesting and rare vintage turntable. Technics made this model as the era of CD-Audio discs was just starting to become popular. Technics recognized that they had to build some features into the SL-J33 to generate some interest and appeal via the linear tracking system, a feature of the SL-J33. One of the things that the SL-J33 can do is have programmable tracks! You can Google the Technics SL-J33 to find out more. There's also some videos of the SL-J33 on YouTube.
