Pioneer SA-8500 II w/ JA-R101 Rack Mount Shelf : Incredible Condition !!!

Up for sale is my PIONEER SA-8500 II Integrated Amp mounted on the optional Pioneer JA-R101 Rack Mount Shelf.COLLECTORS - WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU SAW ONE OF THESE IN THIS CONDITION?This vintage piece from Pioneer's glory days truly is in incredible condition. I've owned it for many, many years but it's now just sitting as I'm retired and no longer have multiple audio systems. I know there is a vintage Pioneer lover out there who dreams of owning this special piece that's in a very hard to find condition and now's your chance!Not only did I mount the amp in the JA-R101 rack shelf (which has never been rack mounted) but I drilled the bottom and installed some very nice heavy duty, new rubber feet that are not stick-on but are bolted through the chassis of the JA-R101. You'll also see from the photos that I've updated the old style speaker connectors with proper Banana connectors so the amp can be used with today's speaker cables and this has made a huge difference - I've used it with both Transparent and Shunyata speaker cables.I've conservatively rated it an 8 purely due to its age - It's in excellent condition and I cannot see any major scratches on it as I take stellar care of my HiFi gear. Check out all the photos. All functions work and it really does sound incredible. Over the past several years, I've used it to great affect with some modern music streamers and hi-end DAC's driving both new KEF R series speakers, new JBL 4312G studio monitors as well as vintage L series JBL's.It doesn't include anything else other than what's detailed above and the owner's manual is available online.AS WITH ALL VINTAGE EQUIPMENT, THERE IS NO WARRANTY ON THIS ITEM INCLUDED OR IMPLIED AND NO RETURNS. Taking the condition, rarity, ownership provenance, the rack shelf and the feet and speaker connectors you'll agree it's worth every penny...For safety, I will remove it from the rack shelf, break that down and properly wrap it. Additionally, I will securely double box the unit. It is very, very heavy and with fuel costs where they are now, all shipping companies have dramatically raised their shipping costs so be prepared.
