Drawing from his family's expertise in metalworking—honed crafting silencers for Ducati motorcycles—Conti developed prototypes between 1988 and 1989, testing them among audiophile friends. With support from his wife Dora Bellini and distributor Audiogamma, the brand quickly gained traction in Italy as the pioneering specialist in audio furniture, filling a market void with hand-welded racks featuring invisible seams, premium wooden shelves, and vibration-damping spikes.
