Offered is „Preisreduktion: Kudos Titan 808 (High Gloss White/ Hochglanz Weiß)“ by Kudos Audio as second-hand device from the category „Standing Speaker“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 2559901404 ends on 25.11.2026 at 16:01 o'clock.
This is an ambitious ask: at €15,800, it sits well above the €9,192 median and even above the €9,472 75th percentile for recent comparable used EUR listings. That doesn’t make it unreasonable if the pair is unusually fresh, complete, or from a standout seller, but it is firmly priced at the top end rather than as a bargain.
What makes it worth considering is the 808’s reputation as a serious high-end speaker with scale, control, and very strong transparency when properly matched. If the cabinets are immaculate, the drivers are original, and it comes with stands, packaging, or a documented history, that premium is easier to justify; otherwise, buyers should expect to negotiate, because the price already assumes a lot.

Kudos Audio traces its roots to the late 1980s in England, when founders Derek Gilligan and Bob Surgeoner—previously of Neat Acoustics—acquired a company renowned for its innovative loudspeaker stands, particularly those paired with the Neat Petite. After their partnership ended, Gilligan retained the Kudos brand and launched its first speakers, the original Cardea models, in 2006. Hand-built in England by Gilligan, who has decades of experience in high-end loudspeaker design and live sound engineering, the brand embodies a heritage of meticulous craftsmanship and bold innovation.
The company focuses exclusively on high-performance loudspeakers, eschewing amplifiers, turntables, DACs, headphones, or cables. Kudos designs emphasize simplicity and precision, often incorporating unique bespoke components from European suppliers and unconventional elements like passive external crossovers. Every model, from the Titan series to the flagship Cardea, is engineered holistically for exceptional musicality and emotional impact.
Positioned as a niche boutique in the high-end market, Kudos Audio enjoys a growing reputation among discerning audiophiles for its rule-breaking approach and one-of-a-kind sound. Fast-rising in the UK hi-fi scene, it appeals to buyers seeking authentic, handcrafted originals that deliver profound listening experiences beyond conventional norms.
