Our Thoughts RADAR AI

Condition is unknown, so the US$13,799 ask is hard to judge as a true value call, but it doesn’t look like an obvious bargain for a used Allnic M-2500 unless it’s exceptionally clean, well-documented, and comes with fresh tubes or extras. Allnic’s big tube power amps are respected, but used pricing usually only feels compelling when it lands clearly below the new-gear level, and this ask sits in “check the details carefully” territory rather than “must-buy.”

What makes it appealing is the Allnic house sound: refined, spacious, and powerful enough to do justice to speakers that like real current and a bit of tube warmth without going soft. If the listing includes original packing, a recent service, and verified hours on the tubes, that helps a lot. At this price, I’d want reassurance on tube life, transformer health, and whether it’s had any board or bias work.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About Allnic

Allnic Audio is a South Korean manufacturer founded in 1997 by Kang Su Park, who continues to design every product and many components himself. The company emerged from Park's earlier venture, Silvaweld, which he co-founded after returning to South Korea in 1990. Park's vision centered on creating high-performance audio electronics using proprietary all-nickel core transformers—the namesake of the Allnic brand—which he viewed as superior to conventional transformer materials for audio applications.

The brand specializes in tube-based electronics, particularly integrated amplifiers, power amplifiers, preamplifiers, and phono stages, with the latter category becoming increasingly central to the product line. Allnic is also known for designing and hand-building moving-coil cartridges. The company's initial focus on 300B-based amplifiers has expanded to include designs using alternative output tubes such as KT120. Allnic manufactures its own transformers using permalloy cores and maintains tight control over component quality throughout its product range.

Allnic occupies the high-end boutique segment of the audio market, commanding premium pricing comparable to established Japanese and European tube manufacturers. The brand gained early international recognition in Germany around 2000 and has since developed a dedicated following among discerning analog enthusiasts and tube amplifier aficionados. While not as widely recognized as legacy brands, Allnic has earned respect within the audiophile community for its uncompromising design philosophy, hand-crafted construction, and Park's personal involvement in every aspect of product development.
